ITINERARY (Some parts of the itinerary may involve bullet train or boat travel)

 

Day 1 - Welcome to Milan!

Arrival at Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP). Transfer to the hotel, check-in, and welcome dinner with introductory briefing.

Overnight in Milan.

 

Day 2 - Milan Highlights & ADI Design Museum

Morning guided tour of Milan, visiting the city’s most iconic sites: Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Sforza Castle, and Brera District.

Afternoon visit to the ADI Design Museum, dedicated to the Compasso d’Oro Award and icons of Italian industrial design.

Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Milan.

 

Day 3 - Fashion & Contemporary Art

Morning visit to the Armani/Silos, exploring the intersection between fashion, art, and material innovation.

Free time in the Quadrilatero della Moda to experience Milan’s luxury shopping and fashion culture.

Optional afternoon visits to the Fondazione Prada or Fondazione Sozzani, both showcasing photography, design, and architecture.

Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Milan.

 

Day 4 - Photography & Storytelling Workshop– Part I

Introduction to a photography workshop, focusing on composition, light, and visual storytelling.

Outdoor sessions across Brera, CityLife, and Piazza Gae Aulenti, capturing urban design and Milanese style.

Group review and feedback session. *

Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Milan.

Day 5 - Photography & Storytelling Workshop – Part II

Full-day editing and creative project session.

Students develop a personal theme — fashion, architecture, urban design, or art & people — guided by a professional photographer.

Final presentation and small exhibition of the works produced.

Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Milan.

 

Day 6 - Lake Como Design Extension

Full-day excursion to Lake Como, exploring art, design, and tradition.

Visit to a printing or textile laboratory, discovering traditional and digital craftsmanship.

Stroll among historic villas and gardens (e.g., Villa Olmo or Villa del Balbianello) with optional drawing or photography activities.

Return to Milan, dinner at a local restaurant, and overnight.

 

Day 7 - Optional

Available activities:

- Extension of the photography workshop

- Upcycling workshop

- In-depth study of Design or Fashion

- Visit to the Brera Academy or other museums

- Cooking Class

- Activities can be customized upon request

- Visit to an atelier (upon availability)

 

Day 8 - Departure

Transfer to Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) for departure.
